Liza Garfield
LIza attended San Francisco State University,
graduating summa cum laude with a degree in
history with a strong emphasis on film and Italian art
history.
She owned and ran her own events company that
catered to a Silicon Valley clientele, such as Apple,
United Airlines, and Genentech, where she honed her
management and organizational skills.
She has worked as a consultant to feature filmmakers, arts
organizations, environmental groups and nonprofits
such as Mill Valley Film Festival, Weldon Owen
Publishing, Renji Philip of Axis Pacific Filmworks,
Motionwerx, Medicine Wheel Films, Environmental
Media Fund, One World Children's Fund, Rainworks
Omnimedia, Valenti & Co., and David Marks of
Peaceful Dragon Films.
