About KC

I grew up in rural Oklahoma. I was very lucky to receive one music & two academic college scholarships. I wanted to major in music, but my parents & career guidance counselor told me I was being unrealistic & I would be up against impossible odds. I graduated college with a marketing degree, but after many years of toiling away on commercial advertising accounts, I yearned for something more artistically creative. One morning on the way to work, knowing I couldn't stand the thought of one more day of selling people more "stuff" they didn't need, I turned the car around & headed back home to make a sharp left turn into a filmmaking career. I didn't care about the odds. I now know a strong resolve & persevering spirit can topple the most impossible odds. To get started in this business, I worked very hard with little or no compensation as a PA & since have done everything possible to build my production company to where it is today. We don't have to change people's lives. If all we do is make them stop & think, that can be the beginning of a process that might lead them down a different path. That's enough for me. I look forward to meeting like-minded film professionals who are dedicated to this wonderful medium of visual storytelling that holds so much potential for entertainment, communication & growth.
