About Darrell

Growing up in the suburban area of Cleveland, my childhood experiences has groomed me into the man that I am today. It has taught me compassion, love, perseverance, gratitude and faith but most of all trusting in God. My siblings and I were brought up with the meekness and humbleness spirit of a virtuous woman of God, Velma Hines, who have not only enforced discipline but love and the importance of our bond with one another in Christ. She is the glue that holds us together. Upon completion of high school at Cleveland Heights High, I began to encounter different influences of life, some positive and some negative, which geared me to become more in tuned with God’s plan for my life. I was 29 years old when God revealed this gift of writing with in me. After that, a change was needed so we relocated to Atlanta, Georgia, where not only my talent began but where I also got saved through Jesus Christ and fell in love with God. He is the reason why I breathe and this is why I have dedicated my life to the Gospel. Currently being a resident of Atlanta Georgia, I am a writer and I write screenplays, stage plays, teleplays, sitcoms, documentaries, poetry, songs and books. My passion with this gift of writing is to become a force to be reckoned with within the industry of Faith-Based Entertainment. My goal is to reach the world in the industry with the message of hope in Christ as well as to inform and entertain.
