M. L. Hart Costume Designer, Screenwriter, Playwright, and Stage Makeup Artist. She is a graduate of Wayne State University where she received her MFA in Costume Design. During her graduate tenure she focused her studies on draping, costume crafts, printing/dyeing, and historical design. She has been working professionally in theatre since 1993. After her education she moved around the United States and Australia working as a costumer with various companies including Soho HERE Arts Center as an assistant costume designer to her friend and mentor, Elizabeth Bourgeois. Ms. Hart is an active member of the United States Institute of Theatre Technology as well as a participating member of the Northwest Professionals Conference Weekend hosted by the University of Montana. She is seeking more work in film and hopes to have her own works produced. She would like to thank her family, friends for all of their help and support!
