LOGLINE:
Eli Barnes, 18, has to grow up quickly when his mother goes into coma. He uses music as a form of therapy and eventually as a source of livelihood. He meets Amina Curtis , his world is illuminated and he starts becoming happy and enjoying life step by step.
When you write a logline, think of it less as a synopsis, so to speak, but a pair of concise and engaging sentences that touches upon the following four things:
-your protagonist (the essence of who they are, because that tells us far more about them than their name: "eight year-old troublemaker", "the monstrous spirit of a slain janitor", etc)
-the inciting incident (which you have here with Eli's mother going into a coma)
-the obstacle (what your protagonist wants+what's standing in their way of getting what they want)
since you're from Kenya, can we collabo?

-the stakes (the "or else")
I just sent you a DM that can help :)
Good start!
