About Michelle

Currently an undergraduate student in my final year, studying a BA Hons in Screenwriting at the University of Central Lancashire. Throughout my time at UCLAN I have collaborated on various projects including development of a radio production, pitched a safety film for Northern Rail and part of the writing team developing the period television drama Hollywood.

Stars - A 10min Radio Monologue
A Call to Arms - Original Feature Script (currently in editing process)

As an avid writer, who through time spent at UCLAN, has been developing script editing skills and a greater understanding of the screenwriting industry and the demands of deadlines and diligence required within the role of a script editor. I have been involved in various stages from; concept ideas, planning, storylining, outlining, synopsis, treatment and proposals, through to script editing, proofreading and script analysis and reporting.

ITV- Uclan Soap in a week (2016)
Television by ITV/UCLAN Script Editor a partnership with The University of Central Lancashire and ITV Studios saw a project that is first of its kind: A soap in a week. From students to industry professionals, working together to write and produce a 15 minute drama. Over the course of the week, 2 days were spent on storylining, writing and script editing, whilst the rest of the week was dedicated to production. The finished product has since been sent to commission.
