About Nicole

A Berklee College of Music graduate with a Bachelor's degree in Film Scoring. Nicole is a very proficient film composer, having composed original music in several genres, from animation to psychological thrillers. A well-known conductor between her peers during her time at Berklee, Nicole conducted over a two dozens of ensembles for fellow students and for her own compositions and arrangements. In the Spring of 2016, Nicole was chosen by professor Peter Cokkinias to be the Berklee Musical Theater Orchestra conductor and music director. Under her baton, the orchestra performed "The Sound of Music", and she was assistant conductor for "An American in Paris", "Guys and Dolls", and "Fiddler on the Roof".

Additionally, Nicole worked for Berklee College of Music's Marketing Department as a content photographer. Her photos were posted on the college's social media platforms. She worked as a freelance photographer on campus, capturing friends' concerts, band promotional posters, and artist headshots. For most of her time at Berklee, Nicole worked for the college's Video Services department. She started as a camera crew, then being promoted to sound engineer and producer, and lastly to supervisor. Nicole worked as a freelance videographer and editor as a student, and as content producer for the "Mais55" YouTube music channel.

Before moving to Boston from her native Panama, Nicole was involved in as many arts as possible. As a recurring cast member in musical theater productions in her hometown, she wrote a comedy play during her senior year in high school under the guidance of theater professor Jaira Olmos. Under Olmos' direction, Nicole starred in her own play, which sold out for the three nights it was put on stage.

Nicole became an established person in Panama's media circle. She was constantly hired as an actress for local TV commercials, and as a voice-over actress and singer for national and international jingles. As her musicality grew, she then began co-writing and selling original jingles.

She also studied classical ballet, jazz, and tap for twelve years in Pointé Centro de Danzas, a well-known dance academy in Panama City. As she became a senior at the academy, Nicole was hired as a basic tap and ballet teacher, teaching 3 to 4 year old girls their first dance moves.
