Matthew Stubstad graduated from USC's School of Cinematic Arts where he joined the comedy sketch group Half Day Today, which went on to win the SYFY reality show 'Viral Video Showdown.' Since graduation, Stubstad has directed a large assortment of commercials, music videos and short films. His viral video "Monopoly Official Trailer" acquired over one million views and mainstream press coverage, including an interview with CNN. Stubstad has also collaborated with several award-winning musical artists, including Diwon, Anderson, and Ludwig Gorannson. His previous work has been accepted into several film festivals, including the Santa Barbara International Film Festival and the San Diego Film Festival. Stubstad currently resides in Los Angeles, CA and is getting used to people mispronouncing his last name while he continues to pursue his dream.
