About Paul

Hello, everyone. I'm a retired law enforcement professional who specializes in writing gritty urban crime dramas. After reading thousands of police reports, coupled with a fertile imagination, I've been able to write about a wide range of characters and topics that operate on the fringes of society. Thus far have written 5 screenplays, and am most proud of having developed a story called "Trail of the Fisherman," which involves sex trafficking and the pursuit of a serial predator that takes place in Chicago, which is where I grew up. Three of my stories feature Afro-American cast members. I've had additional experience in teaching and journalism, both of which can come in handy when developing a script. Excited to join this site and network with seasoned professionals who know a lot more than I do. Particularly interest in developing contacts in California and Chicago.
