Laura Mannino is a comedian and writer in Los Angeles. She's performed stand-up, sketch, and improv at various clubs, theaters, bars, cafes, stores, hostels, yoga studios, former strip clubs, and current dungeons all over New York City and Los Angeles.
Laura has written sketches for WMMOriginals and topical jokes for Ora.tv's "Headline Punchline." She contributed to the collection "Women's Comedic Monologues That Are Actually Funny" published by Hal Leonard Applause Books. Laura's short film "Ten Minute Decade" screened at various festivals including New Filmmakers NY and the Sunset Film Festival where she won Best Actress in a Short Film. She's written for HLNtv.com, LOVETv.co, and CollegeCandy.com.
Laura recently filmed a half-hour stand-up set and co-wrote "Off The Grid," a pilot produced by We Make Movies. She also wrote the first season of a web series, "Making Friends" and a half-hour pilot, "Bomb." Currently, Laura writes for the sketch team Dynasty at iO West.
Originally from Westchester County, New York, Laura is a graduate of NYU's Tisch School of the Arts and UCB. She lives in Highland Park with her husband, one-year-old son, and a wine fridge. In her spare time, Laura writes about herself in the third person and watches way too much Bravo.
