John Edgerton is one of the Producers of the motion picture "Avatara" "about a reluctant prophet" which is now in Post Production and will soon be making the circuits of the Film Festivals. We are privileged to present "THE SERIAL KILLERS' CLUB" A Horror film with a side of Comedy, that is in development! John Edgerton began his career in Theatre as a Professional Actor, Director and Scene Designer, working in Seattle, before turning his aspirations to film. He studied “Motion picture Techniques” under legendary Producer/Director Stanley Kramer (“High Noon”, “It’s A Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad, World” and “Judgement At Nuremberg”) with lecturers by Stanley Kramer, Robert Wise, Burt Lancaster, Denzel Washington, Sydney Poitier, Ed Asner, Stephanie Kramer, Al Sweeney and screenwriter Norman Corwin. He continued his studies with “Techniques of Screenwriting” under well-known Producer Michael Hoffman, director of "Soapdish", "Some Fine Day", "Restoration" and "Midsummer Night's Dream". He recently was fortunate to study screenwriting under screenwriting teacher and script doctor D. B. Giles of NYU Film School. While in Hollywood Mr. Edgerton took classes on “Film Financing and the Law” from Hollywood Lawyer John Cones. Inspired about the art of film, John Edgerton worked in Hollywood in motion pictures and television in the offices and the art departments of Tri-Star Pictures, New World Pictures, Cannon Films, New Line Cinema and Cinetel Productions, finishing as a Assistant to the Art Director on “Messenger of Death” and as the Property Master on the motion picture “Far Out Man” (Directed by and starring Tommy Chong, Martin Mull and Rae Dawn Chong ).
