When a couple of small children are possessed by an evil spirit by the spell of a voodoo witch, their father gets the help from a BABALAWO to detach his soul from his body in order to fight the spirit on the regions between life and death.

SYNOPSIS:

A young woman wants to marry a very rich man. She uses the sorcery of her grandmother, a powerful voodoo mambo, to kill the man’s wife and daughter, although not his son, who is away.

The young woman marries at last the rich man but his son discovers that she is cheating on his father with a young lover. She asks the help of her grandmother to use voodoo sorcery in order to kill the rich man before he takes her out from his will, but his son manages to prevent her to get his father’s wealth.

As soon as she loses his late husband wealth, her lover leaves her. She is frantic and wants to take revenge on his step-son but he disappears. Desperate, the young woman falls in drugs going homeless.

Twenty years pass by and the woman discovers that her step-son has returned, married and with a couple of young children.

She asks her grandmother for help her to get revenge on him. With the help of voodoo sorcery, her grandmother detaches her soul from her body so she can haunt his step-son’s family.

The woman’s step-son small children and wife are possessed by her evil spirit. Distressed, he fights against his own believes, appealing to science and religion in vain.

Finally, he doesn’t see any other solution but to get the help from a BABALAWO to detach his soul from his body in order to fight the spirit on the regions between life and death.

While he is in the afterlife, in the midst of a great battle between Haitian and African deities (Voodoo Loa against Santeria Orisha) for the children’s souls, in earth, there is also a great battle between the BABALAWO’s godchildren and the voodoo mambo’s zombie army for the body of the children’s father in order to prevent him to save his family in the afterlife.
