About Jessica

In my youth in Ireland, I was a professional actress and award-winning step-dancer. In 1992, I wrote my memoir The Journey Back. The follow up, From Tragedy to Triumph: Journey Back from the Edge was published in 2008. My book and work as an activist garnered world fame with praises from such personages as Mary Robinson, (former president of Ireland); Sarah Ferguson (then Duchess of York); poet laureate of jazz, Jon Hendricks and world famous Irish poet, Brendan Kennelly. The Betty Clooney Brain Injury Foundation in California and other worldwide head-injury organizations have also praised my book and work as an activist. I have been providing free personal guidance to head injured survivors and their family members since 1992 and continue to do so.
Prominent people in the field of medicine as well as high-profile spiritual organizations have written extensively about my work in their journals and newsletters. I continue to give presentations at Brain Injury Conferences in Ireland, Canada, the U S and several charity organizations.
Having been a guest on Ireland’s T V chat shows -The Gerry Kelly show and Kenny Live, I am well used to media attention! I was also featured on Ireland’s newscast Nationwide and the Hidden Heroes documentary on Shaw TV in Canada. Recent interviews with Dr. Constance Miller on blog talk radio, and Georgene Summers on Voice America Variety internet have provided me with an even-larger platform and fan base.
