About Max

Ever since I was four years old, when I forced his parents to watch and subsequently act out "The Wizard of Oz" with me nightly, I have been captivated by the power of stories. I wrote my first short story when I was six and my first play when I was fifteen, yet it wasn’t until I made my first film that I discovered exactly what I wanted to do with my life.

After attending college at Washington University in St. Louis, I enrolled in NYU’s MFA program in filmmaking, the first step in a life full of chasing crazy dreams.
