Woe Is Oz Comic Series
Print by Woe Is Oz, Ethan Tarshish (Action, Adventure, Drama, Fantasy and 4 More) Writer/Creator/Producer Woe is Oz is a critically-acclaimed ongoing comic series which follows what happens after Dorothy returns home from defeating the Wicked Witch of the West. I created, as well as wrote and produced the series. Kelly Brown provided ink, pencils, coloring, and layout for issues #1-4.
Commercial by SyFy Channel I conceptualized and scripted a Chrysler-sponsored Helix vignette that was themed around Chrysler's current marketing campaign on timelessness, innovation, and being ahead of your time. My challenge was to have the script resonate with the new path that the 2nd season of Helix was building toward at the time of airing, all while capturing the Chrysler's motto of "The Spirit Lives On."
Television by Syfy Channel E-Blast Copy, Long Lead Awareness for web interactive experience Syfy's 12 Monkeys is a drama based on the Terry Gilliam film from 1995 about a time traveler looking to locate and eradicate the source of a deadly plague that stands to wipe out nearly all of humanity if left unchecked. I wrote copy for an E-Blast that went out to promote the premiere of the show, and also drove long lead awareness and encouraged participation for the web-interactive Unmake History and interactive "The Wall"experience.
Commercial by SyFy Channel (Action, Thriller, Reality-TV and Game-Show) Dialogue and Print writer I developed the overarching copy “Lights off, Game on” for the first season ofTotal Blackout, Syfy's hit elimination series where contestants must confront their fears head on through a series of extreme (and often hysterical) challenges in an arena of absolute darkness
