About Romanus

It's official - Life is a Drag Show is a finalist at The New York Television Festival!!

360° Unscripted Development Pipeline
Finalists Announced -

The NYTVF is pleased to announce the sixteen finalists in the A+E 360° Unscripted Pipeline, where A&E, HISTORY, and Lifetime invited unscripted producers to submit character-based sizzle tapes and series treatments for new unscripted show concepts.

Life is a Drag Show (“LIADS”) goes behind-the-scenes to explore the wild world of drag superstar Peaches Chris and her alter ego writer/director Joshua Grannell. To make a living, Peaches and her chosen family of artistic misfits produce original theatrical parodies that celebrate cult movies and their stars.

Each live spectacle is a true labor of love; produced in less than a month on a minimal budget. Challenges and unexpected personal drama are ever-present—performers throw attitude, schedules change, technology fails, heels break, sets collapse, lines are flubbed, and costumes malfunction.

LIADS delivers the vibrant personalities, fierce dedication, high emotional stakes, and authenticity viewers seek.
