About Charlene

I grew up in Miami FL entering TV and film at age 13. During my career I appeared in many movies, videos’ and TV commercials
My first career was as a PanAm Flight Attendant (flying 3 years to South America and the Caribbean and one year to Europe) brought me to live in N.Y.
While based in N.Y. City when I was not flying I studied the art of makeup while in-apprenticeship with the ‘Makeup Center’, under the mentorship of the LaTour brothers using the Westmore School of makeup method.
The Makeup Center catered to the theater and stage crowd as well as fashion photographers. I also took advantage of my contacts with hair companies and also continued modeling for Clairol and the Rue Company in NY.
Upon leaving PanAm I became a traveling promotional artist for Este Lauder, Lancôme, and Charles Revson and introduced the Charlie fragrance and makeup line for the Revlon Company. Since then I have focused my direction to styling for videos, film and still photography. I have learned the art of SFX makeup and have worked on numerous film productions.
I have also had an extensive career as an owner of an advertising agency called the MediaPoole. One of my accounts, Sunshine Media, contracted me to publish a magazine for the culinary, ‘Restaurant Business of Atlanta’. While publishing, I learned the art of food styling, served as an advisor on the culinary advisory board for the Atlanta Art Institute of Culinary Art’s and was asked to judge culinary competitions for the Beef Board and the AAI students. I was horned to become a member of the distinguished chef’s organization Le Toque Blanche and served as an assistant for the Atlanta Culinary Olympic team.
I continue to produce productions and freelance as a makeup artist and food stylist. My preferred media is Corporate Videos’, TV, Photography and film.
