Ko Eto, was born on Jan 19th, 1985, and grew up in Oita-City, Japan. Ko studied filmmaking at Sydney Film School in Australia throughout 2009, where he directed his short film, PERMANENCE, which received accolades in prestigious Australian film festivals. While at school, Eto also started working as a freelance director and editor. After graduation, Ko travelled back to Oita, Japan and began working in the television and commercial industry. In 2012, Ko moved to Vancouver where he was chosen as an ambassadorial scholar for the Rotary International District 2720. He then proceeded to study cinematography at Capilano University in Vancouver.
