A final year Screenwriting student at the University of Central Lancashire, my time and investment at University has proven worthwhile as I’ve had many opportunities to develop my craft and experience.

I co-host 'The Writers Block,' a show for the University radio station and is an opportunity for writers to send in their scripts which are cast, recorded and edited with sound effects. We recently won the Best Entertainment Show Cross-platforms.

In February, I took part as a storyliner in 'Soap in a Week,' a collaborative project between ITV and the University of Central Lancashire. The aim of the project was to create a new soap opera idea from storylining to filming in just one week. Practitioners from Coronation Street and Emmerdale came in as mentors, guiding students and giving them an understanding of the process of making a soap opera episode.

With the aim of a career in the industry, I enjoy writing in all formats.

I'm currently developing a horror screenplay with the aim of entering it in the ScreenCraft Horror Screenplay Contest, a sitcom for the Writer's Block and a satirical stage play.
