Legrand McMullen is an independent screenwriter. He has written four feature length screenplays, three one-hour TV pilots, and many short scripts, in addition to having several story projects in development. His feature, Red Harvest, was an Official Finalist in the 2015 Cannes Screenplay Contest. He's also written and produced four short films. He's part of the creative collective, Matching Sweaters Productions.
He's an alumni of Robert McKee's Story Workshops and an active Professional Member of the Writers Bootcamp in Los Angeles. He's published three volumes of poetry and some of his work has been published in The Lake Superior Review, California State Poetry Quarterly, Pacific Poetry & Fiction Review, Pigiron Magazine, Carousel Magazine, and Chrysalis Magazine. He qualified to apply for a National Endowment for the Arts Poetry Fellowship. He grew up in Asia and the United States, and has travelled throughout Europe, Central America, Canada and Alaska.
