Davide Abbatescianni

I am an Italian director born on September 16, 1991 in Bari, Italy. In 2013 I completed a Professional Diploma in Stage Directing at ITACA – International Theatre Academy of the Adriatic as well as a bachelor of arts in Communication Studies at the University of Bari Aldo Moro.

Starting from 2014, I am pursuing a master of arts in Documentary Filmmaking at the Baltic Film and Media School of Tallinn, Estonia. I have been working as a theatre teacher in a public primary school, director, assistant director, and actor for different Italian and Estonian audiovisual and theatrical productions.

My first documentary film, 'Elements of Rehearsal in the Bleak Mdiwinter' has been selected in 10 international film festivals. I also work as a freelance researcher in the field of Media Studies and copywriter.
