Jan Muller , aka Okin Khan, aka K. Rakoll
is an award winning filmmaker and visual artist.
He has been living and working as a nomadic painter, sculptor and conceptual artist in West-Berlin, New York City, New Zealand, Moscow, Amsterdam, Paris, Sydney, Madrid and Cádiz, Spain.
In the fall of 2011 he started to work on his first film, Stray Tales, which won various awards at international film festivals. He is currently living in Poughkeepsie, NY, where he produces independent documentary films as well as commercial video clips out of a one person media production company, molitor productions, as its producer, director, writer, cinematographer and editor, as well as commissioned furniture, sculptures, prints and paintings.
Since January 2017 he is also producing, in collaboration with Guillermo Fesser, a monthly piece for Spain’s most viewed news program, El Intermedio, reporting on US topics and culture.
