The genre I love most is Comedy, which is where I want to be. On a Hit Comedy TV-show. With horrible characters. Naked. (just kidding, I'd rather work with good characters). I see Comedy as a great release for hard-working people, students who feel alone, and other people who just need a break. I'd like to give them, and anyone else who could use a laugh (or some perspective), great entertainment, so that they can relax and enjoy themselves. Of course I like to work on Dramas, Sci-Fi, Documentaries and other genres as well. They are an amazing source of inspiration! If you could relate to my P.o.V. in this statement, please feel free to comment! If I just bored you to death, well, then, I wish you: rest in peace. Cheers, Y.
Thank you very much, that means a lot!

Expand posthttp://www.imdb.com/name/nm1116017/ Hi Stage 32 Colleagues. My name is David Rountree and I own and run Psycho Rock Productions out of Los Angeles. My company has produced 5 feature films and I have directed 4, with the most recent two both receiving theatrical releases this year. 108 Stitches, the Romantic Baseball Comedy, is currently in theaters across the country and also available on most VOD outlets. The film stars Golden Globe winner Bruce Davison, Larry Thomas (Soup Nazi from Seinfeld), Kate Vernon (Battlestar Galactica), Dat Phan (Winner of Last Comic Standing Season 1), Josh Blue (Winner of Last Comic Standing Season 4), Allen Maldonado (The Equalizer and Black Jesus), and Erin Cahill (Black Widow and Former Pink Power Ranger). My other feature CUT!, a dark psychological thriller will be in theaters towards the end of the year with a world-wide VOD release on December 2. CUT! won awards for BEST FILM, BEST DIRECTOR, BEST LEADING ACTOR (David Banks), and the AWARD FOR MERIT in Audio at the International Film and Television Festival earlier this year. We are currently in production and development on 3 other features over the next 2 years and are always looking to employ Stage 32 Members. Over 20 Stage 32 members worked on 108 Stitches. I recently wrote a blog for Stage 32, which can be seen at the following link. I look forward to connecting with other Stage 32 members. During the last two and half years, I have read every book there is about screenwriting, but when it comes to the "bible of the whole series," I have to confess that I have no idea.
Ben we have lots of work ahead of us... LOL

Expand commentHi, Vienna. Nice to meet you on Stage. I am currently working in television and work as a Story Editor responsible for a Children's TV show Series Bible -- a network show licensed by a broadcaster for development. There are many types of "Bibles", depending upon the purpose and stage of development for any concept. A "Mini Bible", usually refers to a Development Bible and as Chris mentions is a sales tool containing a breakdown of characters, settings, etc. A Series Bible, or "Production Bible" are forms which detail specific aspects of a series criteria and basically contain the "rules" of the series relating to character backgrounds, throughlines, dos & don'ts, setting breakdowns, and sometimes much more, including even production and film-style parameters. I hope you're being well paid for your hard work, you've already written a considerable amount with 5 scripts. Please tell me this producer is legit and you have money on the table. One of the great banes of the industry is the whole "dangling carrots" syndrome, where "so-called" producers entice writers to do a heap of work without pay only for the hope (and always a promise) of a sale. Writer beware! If it is legit, please google "tv series bible" there are several great samples available that you may use as a template depending on the genre, etc. Good luck!
Thank you Lars, I met the producer in a pitch festival she is from Disney, but no they have not contact me back, all she said was to email her the series bible after she heard my pitch...
