About James
I've been a storyteller and creative since childhood (I wrote my first story in second grade at the age of 8) and have since published two collections of humorous short stories and have had several stories and a ghost story novelette published in various anthologies. Part of my authoring business and creative side includes dabbling in YouTube videos (Writing With Beers and Freaking Awesome Authors) and organizing and volunteering for writing and book marketing conferences.
Though not typically my mainstream work, I've also written short video scripts for the Alzheimer's Association of Utah and the CAO Group and have produced many graphic design items for the League of Utah Writers, Utah's Book Marketing Conference, SoJo Writers Conference, and for some of my own book covers.
Unique traits: Fiction author (humor, horror, middle-grade, children's, short stories), script writer (short videos for Utah Alzheimer's Association, CAO Group, Inc.), technical writer (20+ Year's as an archaeologist), copy editor (BYU-Idaho Scroll newspaper), and ice cream aficionado.
