About Chyenne

The work of Story Artist, Chyenne Bertrand, is as expressive and animated as she is. Her smiles and creative energy show in her art and are contagious to those around her.

She hadn’t always strived for artistry. At one point, she had plans to follow the life of a marine biologist. That all changed when a classmate shoved a comic book in her face; a match to the kindling to her love of the beautiful animations and captivating stories from the afternoon/Saturday morning shows she had been addicted to. Since the revelation in 2005, she took many art classes in and out of school, graduating with an Art Focus Diploma in 2010 and a BFA in Animation in 2014.

At the moment, she helps children love stories and crafts at the Library by day. By night, she draws, plans, and studies others’ art as she strives to learn and better herself. Chyenne dreams of inspiring others by helping to make stories that’ll get people excited and hooked on them as she does. Whether by storyboard or by comic, she plans to spread happiness with sequential art.
