SYNOPSIS:

CLAIR DELANEY (20’s), a Harvard law graduate, wakes to music. She follows it to her boyfriend, JOSH ATKINS (20’s), a classical pianist on the verge of a promising career who worries he’ll be judged by his blindness, not his music. Clair reassures him that it’s not his eyes, but what’s inside him that matters. However, she soon realizes Josh’s insecurity extends to their relationship. He insists she go to an out of town interview, her dream job, before committing to being with him.

When they reunite at a lake house to reassess the relationship, a bolt of lightning strikes them both. Josh and Clair see a vision of the future, in which a forty-year old man is shot and killed on a dock while an aging Clair watches. She also sees a blonde she believes to be the shooter.

Josh and Clair go see DAVE (30’s), Josh’s brother, an astrophysicist who specializes in dark matter. He offers a scientific rationale for what they saw and speculates that the body Josh inhabited may have been his reincarnated self. Clair dismisses the notion, but Josh can’t. He’s deeply affected by what he saw and immediately proposes. Clair accepts. On their way to the wedding, the car Clair drives is t-boned. Josh dies in front of her eyes…

And then Josh’s eyes are… Alex Schilling’s eyes. He’s an eye surgeon forty years in the future who has an invention that might cure blindness… and he looks like the man in Clair’s vision. Spurred on by the failing eyesight of his niece, ELENA, Alex looks to find a corporate partner to make his invention viable. Enter ROBERT GILEAD, the CEO of Delcom, a company interested in his prototype, but under investigation by Clair (now 60)… a New York District Attorney.

When fate leads Clair into a subway and she gets a glimpse of Alex, the vision she saw with Josh comes back full force. She realizes she can save Alex… and in the process her true love, Josh.

Meanwhile, the CEO of Delcom hires a fixer, VINCENT, to ensure they get Alex’s invention to blunt Clair’s investigation. In turn, Vincent arranges for a stripper, BRITTANY (the blonde killer) to seduce and sway Alex as he begins to have second thoughts.

When Brittany falls for Alex, events spiral toward the vision Clair and Josh glimpsed forty years before. Clair finds herself on a dock with Alex trying to convince him he’s in danger… but the bullet doesn’t come from Brittany, it comes from Vincent. And it doesn’t find Alex, it finds Clair. But as Clair dies, she hears piano music and the voice of her lover, Josh.
