About James

James Al. Greco is the pen-name of Dimitrios Alexopoulos. He was born in Athens in 1981. He wrote his first novel at the tender age of twelve. This was strictly for personal pleasure, on an old typewriter and since then writing has remained his great passion. James has been honoured with the Panhellenic Literature Association Prize. He has also received distinctions and awards in several literary groups and some of his work has been awarded in National & International literature and poetry contests.
He studied as a dental technician and worked for several years in this field. Being a good communicator, his interest then turned to sales followed by a successful career in the field of real estate.
James has never stopped writing and in 2013, his first book (the Greek original version of The Portrait of Eve) was published. This exceeded all expectations. and one year later he published his second Psychological novel, Room 104.
He also writes articles in magazines, literature websites and newspapers.
The rich writing (literary work) of James Al Greco, with lyrical elements and literary style make him one of the most talented and aspiring Greek writers of our time.
Now, for the first time his work is available translated into English.
