Author, screenwriter, marketer and fashionista. With Sophie Dahl figure (pre modeling career), Twiggy haircut and obsession for Prada and Hunter wellies. Originally from New Zealand, Carolyn’s marketing career spans 23 years, working in New Zealand and Europe for some of the world’s largest brands including Kraft Foods, Unilever, eBay UK, Nestle, Stella Artois and MSN.

When not creating beer, detergent or toothpaste, Carolyn would mooch down to her other home in Lorgues, South of France, to lounge in the pool and keep the champagne industry afloat. Ahhh, le joie de vivre.

Maybe not!

Mother has Carolyn earmarked for the Religious Order (since marital progress has stalled to a glacial pace) and Grandmother is frantically praying to St Jude, patron saint of Hopeless Cases. Meanwhile Father’s suggestions of “Have you forgotten what you do for a living? Start marketing yourself!” or Carolyn’s personal favourite, “Buy a lavender farm, you’ll meet lots of farmers!” haven’t been particularly useful.

One day out of the blue, Carolyn packed up her dress collection and moved from a life of couture, champagne cocktails, big business and European lifestyle to Daylesford. Pretty, rural and fabulously famous spa town in Australia … Daylesford. Parents, friends, sister and random strangers didn’t believe the crazy things that continue happen to Carolyn since moving to the country, so she started writing a eJournal to document everything. Officially it’s a personal guide to the fabulousness of Daylesford, which has now turned into an online magazine but realistically it’s all about Carolyn. The website has now turned into a book – ‘to Daylesford, with love’ launched March 2012

Then there's ‘to Daylesford, with Love’ screenplay. A Rom Com based in Daylesford, starring Carolyn (of course), played by Tina Fey and Gerard Butler. Currently sitting on the desks at Village Roadshow USA.
