Kate Elizabeth Laxton

Kate Elizabeth Laxton is a quirky and dedicated actress and model who recently graduated from the drama school ‘Screenwise’, with a diploma in screen acting. For most of her childhood and teenage years she was an Olympic trial Australian swimmer. She has studied English Literature and is advanced in her training of RP English and the Cockney accent. Kate’s strengths lie in her hard work, relationships with cast and crew, and commitment to each and every role she has. She was utterly honoured to be the chosen by esteemed director Brendan Cowell to feature in the film 'Ruben Guthrie' with Ruben Guthrie (Patrick Brammal) himself. With each role she takes on; whether it be theatre, feature film, television or photoshoots, she has been given wonderful feedback from directors for her hard work, openness and ability to take any and all directions. She will never stop wanting to develop in her acting, and aspiring to those she once only admired on her TV, and now she calls friends.
