Erin Sheahan

I am a local filmmaker hailing from the Tampa Bay Area in FL. A native of Charlotte, NC, I grew up with a passion for writing and the art of filmmaking. It was as early as the age of 11 that my teachers were phoning my parents reporting my talent for writing. I went on to earn my Bachelors degree with a major in Sociology and a minor in Women's Studies at The University of North Carolina at Charlotte. My studies in Sociology made me come to the realization that I wanted to know not only the patterns of human behavior but also the human body. I went on to The University of Miami specializing in Endocrinology.
Years later I had the wild idea that maybe I could go back to my passion for writing and film. After a few helpful mentors along the way, I began my career by modeling on Live television ( HSN ). That then opened a gateway to work on Major Motion Pictures, Showtime and local independent short and feature length films. I consider my self a filmmaker as I am the "jack of all trades". I focus on acting, improv, producing, still photography, and screenwriting.
