Sant Joan (in Catalan — San Juan in Spanish) is summer solstice night in Spain. An evening of fireworks, parties, nighttime swimming, dancing and merriment until the sun rises. Dimple and I went down to Barceloneta beach to check out the fireworks and came across a wonderful sight. A bunch of drummers and percussionists were playing near the beach, surrounded by loads of people. People from all over the world, dancing, laughing and welcoming in the summer.
