A clueless private detective searches for the whereabouts of two, identical stolen vehicles in a case which threatens to undo his illustrious career.

SYNOPSIS:

Famously-naive Private Detective Bob takes a case in which a couple's expensive vehicle is stolen from the husband's workplace. As "Bob the Detective" begins searching for the vehicle's whereabouts he is mysteriously called off the case by the very couple who asked him for help. Simultaneously, he is sought by the owner of a local car dealership who is now missing an identical vehicle. Bob juggles the wishy-washy demands of his two clients as they repeatedly call him on and off their cases. Bob, as usual, misses all the obvious clues and even winds up in jail himself... the bail paid by his own clients! Yet, in the end, it is Bob who drives off in the car as a token of thanks for helping reunite a broken family.
