Bernice Low

I am a UCLA trained screenwriter with over 15 years experience writing for film, television and transmedia, with strong executive experience in story and script development as well as hands on producing expertise. A screenwriter who knows and understands Asian cultural nuances and blends it skilfully with the fundamental structural and cinematic demands of American screenwriting.

I have sold material/worked with major networks and producers in Asia such as Cartoon Network Asia, KRU Studios, Tarantella Pictures and Ochre Pictures. I have executive produced three pilots and co-created five television/animation shows. In 2014, I wrote, produced and directed a microbudget dramatic comedy "In Between Floors", which was distributed by GSC Movies. .

I have expansive development experience with my most recent role as Development Executive with Ideate Media, a US-Malaysia based production company where I evaluated screenplays and books for potential film and television projects, as well as developed film and television pitches for the regional Asian marketplace.

I currently have two films in development with US-based production companies and "Masquerade:Baubles of Doom", a multiplatform game by Big Ant, in which I served as Game Writer, was released April 2016.
