An accomplished creative director, Gabriel oversees all development & production for LocoDistro and at a (relatively) young age Gabriel is already a Sundance winner, two-time Worldfest Gold winner, Adweek BestSpots winner, featured filmmaker at the MoMA, and his CGI Animation has received Honors from The Academy of Television Arts & Sciences. Over the years he has delivered the goods to such entertainment brands as Discovery, HBO, History, The Rolling Stones, Lionsgate, Marvel, NBC, PBS, and Turner to name a few.

In 2012, Gabriel was selected by the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences to be Executive Producer of “The 39th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards” (broadcast live on Turner/HLN) and reinvent the Emmy brand. Also in 2012, Gabriel served as Executive Producer along side Spike Lee on the hip hop horror movie “You're Nobody til Somebody Kills You” (distributed by Lionsgate).

As a distributor, between 2011 and 2012, LocoDistro (launched with business partner Colleen Seldin) signed on such pictures for sales & distribution as For Greater Glory with Andy Garcia and Eva Longoria, Hotel Noir with Danny DeVito, Mandy Moore, Rosario Dawson, and Kevin Connolly, Girl Walks Into A Bar with Carla Gugino, Zach Quinto, Danny DeVito, Josh Hartnett, Rosario Dawson, Robert Forster, Emmanuelle Chriqui, The Hot Potato with Ray Winstone and Jack Huston, and Roadie with Ron Eldard, Bobby Cannavale, and Jill Hennessy.

For 2013, Gabriel is already in pre-production on two feature films—the CGI action feature “Tunnel Riders” as producer, and the film adaptation of multi-award winning graphic novel “The Trap-Door Maker” as writer & producer—plus he's serving as an Executive Producer on the Emmy nominated web series “The Bay.”

Other recent credits include concert special “Kenny Rogers First 50 Years” (GAC 2011), “Tyrannosaurus Sex” (Top 10 Must List, Entertainment Weekly, 2010), “Battle BC” (3 of 4 Stars, People Magazine, 2009), “The Art of War” (History, 2009), “Journey to 10,000 BC” (History, 2008), “The Wire” (HBO, 2007), “Last Stand of the 300” (Top 10 Best Sword Fighting Movie of All Time, Star Wars Insider, 2007), and “Rome Engineering an Empire” (Emmy Winner, 2005).

Gabriel lives in New York City with his wife, two children, two turtles, and fish named Nasdaq.
