A trio of Kentucky-born female country music singers find themselves on tour and on the lam after committing a crime of passion,which just so happens to be a great recipe for songwriting.

SYNOPSIS:

What Would Dolly Do? follows Laney Hitchcock, Sadie Jo Morgan, and Rae Lynn White, members of The Gypsy Jo’s, a female country music trio from the hills of Appalachia. Bonded by their talent, ambition, love for one another, not to mention an unfortunate crime of passion they committed, these girls find themselves in a series of situations where they must rely on their wits and the unfailing wisdom of Dolly Parton. While their adventures on the road make for plenty of songwriting material, the law is never far behind, and tensions build as the girls succumb to their own personal vices as they chase their dreamof becoming country music’s next success story.
