Shekhar Tewari

I am a Film Editing graduate from The Film and Television Institute of India (FTII), Pune. Before that I did my Bachelor and Master in English Literature from Ramjas College, Delhi and Central Institute of English and Foreign Languages, Hyderabad.
I have been Freelancing as an Editor, Writer, Director Concept Developer and Data Wrangler in Mumbai since passing out of the FTII.

I have been trained in, and have some experience in, various basic aspects of Filmmaking.
Being good with people, fluent and effective communication, pro-active interest, understanding and sincerity in my work are the obvious requirements for filmmaking, and I am good on these aspects.

Widely travelled (meaning travel to, then stay at the new region/location for a few months/years) has contributed to my adaptability and open-nes to ideas and people. I also have a working understanding of a few Indian languages (Bengali, Marathi, Hindi, Bhojpuri, Awadhi, Urdu, Chattisgarhi, Tamil), and cultural understanding of the many Indian States that I have been interacting with during the course of my education and career.
