After the collapse of the Soviet Union Turmunkh became one of the popular journalists and programmed directors of Mongolian television. He also wrote and produced the feature film TEARS OF LAMA, and he is celebrated author of many short stories and TV reportages.
As representative of the Mongolian Association of Free Democratic Journalists ,he is one of the few Mongolian journalists who have been issued an International Press Card.
He speaks Mongolian, English and Russian.
From –2000-2001 lived and worked in NYC United States of America
From 2004 until meantime owner of tv & film studio NOMUN
Making tv commercials video clips tv documentaries and Weekly tv program called TOBCH TOLI
From January 2011_2012 he worked on chief producer of tv 9 television

Same time working on his own studio ‘NOMUN’ making documentary films and other projects. NOMUN studio made more then 100 tv programs, 30 tv documentary films and around 20 tv commercials.
