Ata Servati, is a prize winning, poet, playwright, novelist, actor, filmmaker and peace activist, who immigrated to the United States from Iran.
Leaving his native country just before the height of its National Rebellion, he continued his childhood journey into entertainment. Ata has written and directed productions of all kinds throughout the world. Ata’s work reflects his struggle with what has always been a spiritual calling.
Ata is a spiritual man on the path of Rumi, Omar Khayyam and Hafez. Ata struggled to resist this spiritual calling for years and sought to live a normal life. But only recently, after losing everything he had gained in life, living a lavish life style, he found himself living out of his car after the fall of real estate, a bad business deal and a failed marriage. He finally remembered his youthful hopes and dreams and the path that he was meant to walk on and accept what his true life’s passion is spreading the message of LOVE and PEACE. The voice of this dream has echoed in his heart since he was a boy. After many wasted years, he finally begain to write and found his peace and his true path of life he was meant to walk on. From this he has written about the struggle of his homeland and abroad for independence of a nations and soul through his novels “IN SEARCH OF HEAVEN”, “BABA”, “IN SEARCH OF LOVE”, “MARRIED TO THE WELL”, “THE SILENT BEGGAR”, “THE “SHRINE” and his book of spiritual poem from the heart poetry, “I AM A LOTUS.” He has founded “THE LOTUS LIGHT CHILDREN CHARITY”, “LOVE INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL (LIFF)”, ”, “ENLIGHTENMENT ENTERTAINMENT (EE)” through which he launched the following film projects, “In Search Of Heaven”, base on his highly anticipated novel by the same name he released on 2006, “BABA”, “CellFish” to reflect this merger of soul and creativity and to share them with the world.
