About Mark

Mark S Reynolds is the creator and co-host of the popular industry podcast, "Make My Damn Movie", a comedy podcast about the movie & entertainment business (listener discretion advised).

Before "Make My Damn Movie", Mark enjoyed a well-established career in radio broadcasting in medium and major markets. He held positions as Vice President of Programming, Operations Manager, Program Director, Music Director, Talk Show Host and Morning Show Host.

Seeking a new challenge, he switched gears from broadcasting to achieve a long-standing goal of owning a global franchise, which he accomplished.

After a few years, he found himself waxing nostalgic with his staff about his early days in radio. The overwhelming opinion was, "that should be a movie". The idea intrigued Mark, so off he went to craft those early events into a screenplay without having a clue how to actually write a script, embarking on a mission to teach himself how to do just that.

Since then, Mark has completed several original comedy screenplays with stories and characters that appeal to broad audiences. Many of these scripts have placed highly in several screenplay competitions and are sure to resonate with the masses.

In addition to writing, Mark also created the movie industry/screenwriting hit podcast, "Make My Damn Movie" where he and co-host Tom Swain discuss the trials and tribulations of attempting to get a movie produced... and other fun stuff too. Check it out! Available on Apple Podcasts as well as every other podcast platform...
