About Emellie

Emellie O'Brien (EOB) is the founder and president of Earth Angel, the only sustainability consultancy servicing the film and television industry in the United States. Her extensive knowledge of film/television production and commitment to environmental justice has earned her the reputation of the East Coast’s leading production Eco Supervisor, a role that she established throughout her 5 years of experience working in the field of sustainable entertainment production. She is the author of “Going Green & Saving Green: A Cost-Benefit Analysis of Sustainable Filmmaking” – a Producer’s Guild of America Green report. She is also a founding member of the Film/Entertainment Chapter of the ISSP (International Society of Sustainability Professionals). EOB is a Tory Burch Foundation Fellow and a recipient of the 2014 Toyota/Net Impact Personal Impact award. She graduated with honors from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts with a B.F.A. in Film & Television and a minor in Producing.
