About Jeron

Jeron Nelson was born May 28, 1991, and is now twenty-five years old. He is originally from New Orleans, Louisiana, where he lived with his mother, older brother and sister. In 1994, he and his two siblings were sent to live in Richmond, Virginia with his aunt. There he lived, until the summer of 1999. At that time his aunt moved him to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He has lived in the suburbs of Cheltenham Township since 2006. Jeron was raised in a strict, old school, and well mannered household where the most important topic of discussion was becoming educated. He spent most of his spare time reading, drawing, or studying outside of extracurricular activities. He played tennis over the summer of 2000, played basketball from elementary school to high school, and played golf for two summers (2005-2006). He earned two trophies and a medal in golf. Before turning 12, Jeron was welcomed into the Boy Scouts of America. Over the course of seven years, he was elected Patrol Leader, Assistant Senior Patrol Leader, and Senior Patrol Leader. He earned the rank of Eagle Scout in June, 2009. While a leader in scouts, he took on the role of "Chief of the Northern District in Philadelphia" for the Order of the Arrow. While a member of the O.A, he achieved the rank of Brotherhood. Jeron also enjoys running and became a first time finisher in the 2007 Philadelphia Marathon, while a member of Students Run. In 2010, during his freshman year at Penn State, Abington, he and some of his closest friends brought back Black Student Union. It was the best feeling ever. After reestablishing B.S.U, he became its Vice-President and had a helping hand in other clubs. This experience really showed him what he could bring forth within myself. His latest accomplishment is having been promoted for the second time in the United States Army National Guard. He joined the military at age 21 in June, 2012. He is currently the rank of E4, better known as, Specialist Nelson.

Though his goal has been to become an architect worthy of the Guinness Book of World records since the age of 7, deep down Jeron has always desired to be a celebrity. He has daydreamed being a model, actor, singer, and dancer. After years of keeping his dream in the back of his mind he was scouted, in 2014, working at Express in Willow Grove Mall. It was then He decided to pursue making his dreams a reality. What makes Jeron a unique individual begins with his personality. He has a character that adapts to others and thus appeals to everyone he meets. He is both pleasant and friendly. He has high levels of energy, from start to finish. He is definitely a morning person. Jeron may come off quiet and shy, but once you meet him he is very warm welcoming. He can make a friend out of anyone and there's not a soul who is in his life that he hasn't made laugh. He has the gift of being a true people person. When it comes to work, he is a shining example of the word, "overtime." He loves being of value to whoever needs me.

Jeron has had two major inspirations in his life. The first was the personal desire to make life as comfortable as possible for his family, through all that he could be and all of his success to come. His second inspiration came to him in the form of a birthday present. A friend of the family who worked for Philadelphia's Channel 3 News heard that Jeron had this obsession with Bryant Gumbel. At the time Bryant Gumbel was working on the Early Show. He would watch him every morning before school. His favorite part was when Gumbel tried different foods with random chefs outside with all these New Yorkers screaming about on the sidelines. For his eleventh birthday, arrangements were made for Jeron to be driven in the family limousine to New York City and meet Katy Couric, Al Gore, and Bryant Gumbel himself. He even ended up on T.V with Bryant Gumbel while he was trying new foods. After meeting each person one by one and spending time with the entire cast, what happened next has stuck with Jeron ever since. Bryant Gumbel said to him, "When you make your first million, give me a call!" Now ask Jeron was he inspired.

What Jeron is trying to accomplish is to better himself in both character and ambition. He wants to accomplish what no one else has before nor even thought of doing in modeling or television. He wants to show everyone who sees him what makes him "Jeron," and no one else. He desires to help make the world a better place to live and make people happy by doing what He's always dreamed of. He wants to do more than just exist. He wants to live his life in entertainment. He feels born on set. As he should, he more than welcomes being matured by the tutelage or better entertainers than he. He'll be the best model and actor for himself and everyone, and learn whatever he has to to do so. However, he can't do it alone. He wants to compete until there is no competition and grown amongst others in the entertainment industry. So whenever you have room, Jeron is here to stay.
