I'm an aspiring screenwriter with a background in journalism and PR who has completed a bunch of scripts in different genres (comedy, action, crime, film noir, sci-fi) and a I have a growing stack of ideas in various stages of creation, for movies or Netflix/Amazon series. I've received great feedback on the scripts I've sent for coverage, especially in the areas of character development and dialogue. I gravitate toward character-driven stories that push the protagonist to extremes and create a full range of emotions, as well as ensemble stories that bring disparate people into a common, noble narrative.
Under my real name, Adam Dickter I had a long career as an editor and reporter covering politics and technology, and had a chance to interview a few stars, including Debra Winger, William Shatner, Henry Winkler and producers like Jenji Kohan and Robert Smigel . Today I work at a top financial PR firm. I have a strong interest in working on projects tied to Jewish culture, history and contemporary issues.
