GENRE: Drama, Sci-fi
LOGLINE: Political subterfuge, covert operations and alien alliances, it will take more than just humanity to piece our history together.

SYNOPSIS:

The year is 2180, and political subterfuge, covert operations and thinly veiled policies of mass manipulation enshroud Earth. James Allman, a twenty-two year old military pilot from the Earth’s West Coalition, will be faced with a life changing decision, loyalty to family and friends, or to his government. His hatred for a group known as the Faction will lead James on a journey that will reveal that everything that he has learned and experienced throughout his life is not always as it appears. Rebecca Allman, a beautiful but shy seventeen year old with a severe medical condition, just wants a fair chance in life. She will learn that life is not fair and will have to overcome life’s obstacles without the help of her brother James. The Faction, labeled by the Coalition Assembly as terrorists, have infiltrated the Quadrants and energizing their movement, and are fighting to piece together the mystery of their past and to also expose the corruption within their government. An ensemble cast of unique and diverse characters interacts with James and Rebecca guiding them past the realm of Earth and into the world of Earth Com, a world of deceit, corruption, conspiracy, aliens, space stations and prison planets. Before the Great War of 2064 a rising company known as Earth Com was contracted by the Super Powers to create the ultimate international planetary workforce. Earth Com combined the DNA of Humans and animals and through years of manipulation succeeded in creating the ultimate workforce, seven foot tall reptilian humanoid creatures known as Huvire. But the Huvire evolved into sentient beings. With the help of a military general named Britham, the Huvire were able to rebel against their creators. A treaty was drawn between the Huvire and the governments of Earth, but eventually will be broken. Several years later Earth Com was on the verge of yet another technological breakthrough, city sized canopies that created an artificial atmosphere. Earth Com convinced the world governments to set up the canopies around the globe and then inciting a world war. Following the Great War, a war that decimated much of the planet’s population, forced the remaining population into the canopies, but at a cost, forced to relinquish their identities, history and technology. Earth’s new ruling party rose out of Earth Com to become known as the Council of Nine. The Council instituted a series of ordinances and regulations in an attempt to hide all knowledge of Earth’s history from its citizens. This government also formed secret alliances with alien races to augment their power and strength.

This is an interesting concept too. I wonder if it would make a backdrop for a video game series.

Thank you... I have also toyed with the idea of a graphic novel... I have written the script as a MOW..

Having sniffed around video games and talked to some of the big companies I can say they are pretty hard to get into right now. The distribution pie is shrinking and a lot of companies with a lot of money are fighting for what is left. I do think this could make an amazing graphic novel though.

That is a venue I would love to do - creative writing for Bethesda or EA or do voice acting. It's a tough racket to get into, even for published authors and voicers.
