Armando Pizzuti was born in the small medieval village Carpinone about two hours southeast of Rome, Italy. As a young child, Armando was already demonstrating an interest in acting, and was quite driven and focused about getting himself in any and every school play he could get himself into. Thanks to the support of his teachers and parents, and his single-mindedness, he managed to land spots in just about everything he ever wanted to be in.
Armando remained in this sleepy little hilltop village until he graduated from high school when his longstanding interest in acting finally overtook him and he was compelled to move all by himself to Rome - Italy's undisputed arts and culture center.
Once in Rome, Armando adapted to life in the big city swiftly - as if it had always been his true home. Initially, Armando busied himself attending University, albeit half-heartedly, and working all manner of odd jobs to help support himself. However, he soon dropped out of school, opting instead to pursue his passion for acting by studying for three years with Beatrice Bracco, a renowned acting coach in Rome.
Shortly thereafter, Armando got his first big job in the 2006 Italian blockbuster movie "Notte Prima Degli Esami" (The Night Before The Exams), and its sequel the following year, "Notte Prima Degli Esami OGGI" (The Night Before The Exams TODAY).
The notoriety Armando received from those performances kept him busy with a wide variety of work, including supporting roles in feature films, TV shows, theatrical production and TV commercials...
After about three years, Armando then got his first leading role in the movie called "Lucantonio, un Umile Santo" (Lucantonio, a Humble Saint) where he portrays Saint Humilis de Bisignano, one of Italy's most venerated saints. Release date remains pending at this time.
Then, just this year, Armando was cast as Luis in the groundbreaking production of "LorcaBaret" - an original play about Spanish Poet Federico Garcia Lorca that played to packed theaters in Milan and Rome.
For 3 years Armando is working in the famous Italian show for kids called "La Melevisione" . One of the most famous and long time running show for kids in Italy.
Armando speaks fluent Italian, English and Spanish!
He's just finished shooting the movie called "Di tutti i colori" a coproduction between Italy and Russia due to go out in theatres this fall.
