AUTHOR BIO:
S.W. Wilcox, aka DJ Scott, was born and raised in California. He earned a BA in English in Pa. in 2004. An animated short version of "Bards of Fantasia" was made in 2007, for schools. And since 2009, in Utah, he’s been scoring the full script, playing live, and DJ-ing.

FANTASY SCREENPLAY:
I have a 1-sheet I’d love to send agents & producers with the synopsis, pitches, illustration samples, etc. Heck, I published the script as an illustrated novel for a quick view and advance-buzz, here:

Quick pitch? "Harry Potter" meets "Highlander." Full-color storyboards with illustrations in the YA Brit fantasy tradition of The Hobbit, Alice in Wonderland, How to Train your Dragon, etc., but much more detailed thanks to technology like Photoshop.

Indeed, along with my original guitar-driven soundtrack, I envision the FULLY PREVIS'D screenplay not as animated but live action in the Brit tradition of Tolkien, Lewis, and Rowling.

Unique traits: Cutting-edge rock producer, writer, and fantasy illustrator. Pen-pal with Michael Moorcock when I was a teen.

DECADE ESCAPADES plot: In 1985, two students are trapped in a videogame by the hero's jealous ex--and her video minions! An homage to 20th c. film-history, the couple are immersed in a 1940's Army hangar *Ritual of Terror), 1920's gangster-casino (American Hitmen), 1960's freakout-seance (Sonic Prophecy), 1970's car-race (Arsenic Addiction), 1930's train-robbery (Deny Your Faith), and 1990's cyber-ninja-zombie graveyard (Reveeler). 3 "official" videos round-out the cable tv pilot to exactly 51min.
Bards of Fantasia: Tour Musical, Mythical Britain in 39 Animated Minutes (2008)
Film (Animation and Short) Director Two music students, well-versed in physics, launch their adventure in post-modern England, moving on through ancient Ireland, Wales, Scotland, and north Britain, as it was becoming England. The trick to surviving both the physical challenge of meeting barbaric tribes and the supernatural challenge of overcoming mysterious - even wrathful - gods and other creatures of myth, is the peaceful use of physics. The two students have mastered the physics (and metaphysics) of guitar and vocal sound-waves, while their drummer-companion has mastered the mechanics of magnetic and temporal locomotion (a magnetic time tower). So relax and enjoy the 13 short, hard-rock songs and hundreds of digital paintings of mythic times, as the story-elements are so densely-packed, you'll need a dozen views to catch most of them!
