I am a screenwriter. I write thriller genre and want to explore bloody horror too. I am very diversified in my life and writing. As a result, I have been wracking my brain to come up with a great Rom/Com. I have always envied comedic writers and consider them as having a superpower. My humor comes out in my writing sometimes but it is a dry humor. Well, my seeking has paid off and I finally came up with a fantastic plot. I will start working on it when I finish a couple of rewrites. I may have to enlist a funny writer though. I know some of you may think romance is boring, but sometimes you are just in the mood for it.
I have had a short produced which was super exciting. I offer script coverage to writers. I start out methodically reading and taking notes, but always end up jumping into the other side of the curtain so I can experience the story like a participant instead of an observer. Then I reread it "methodically".
I have also been exploring television writing. My dream is to be staffed. I consider myself in TV training. Outside of writing, I have a dream to buy a motorcycle and take a road trip. I used to do that in a pickup (a small girlie one). I have so many hopes and dreams which I am very grateful for because life isn't pretty without dreams. I am glad I have an arsenal of quirkie characters to write into my dreams, even if they go kicking and screaming.
