LA award-winning documentary filmmaker, journalist, prizewinning author (Minefields & Miracles: Why God and Allah Need to Talk), and passionate interfaith activist for 30 years. I recently surprised myself by writing and composing 30 songs. I released an album with 11 of the songs as I am preparing to launch a Broadway-type musical, called INTERFAITH; The Musical. Currently working on the book for the stage production.
God and Allah Need to Talk
Film (short)
by FilmsThat Matter/Ruth Broyde Sharone
Ruth Broyde Sharone, Producer/Director Following the devastating events of 9/11, filmmaker Ruth Broyde-Sharone saw an urgent need to document the efforts of courageous Muslims, Jews, and Christians in Los Angeles who are determined to bring healing to a fragmented nation. The film illustrates how interfaith dialogue, community outreach, and even dinner conversation can be harnessed to dissolve fear and suspicion and, ultimately, to create a path towards true reconciliation. God/Allah is always talking to us, but are we talking to one another? For extracts, visit: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=53dY2KciPUo
