About Christa

My name is Christa Aiken and I am an experienced Film, TV, and Documentary AD. From my first AD gig on a TV pilot to my most recent on a documentary in Nigeria, I've always known being an AD is what I love to do and who I want to be in my career. I am a naturally organized and detail oriented person so the duties of an AD are second nature to me.
While I am in the DGA it is in the capacity of a Graphics Associate so I can still work on non-union/low budget projects. With my access to the DGA I have been able to keep my skills sharp with AD training programs I regularly attend. I am also CSATTF Safety Pass certified so I can insure the safety of your set with no problem.

Sesame Square in Northern States (2015)
Documentary by Sesame Square/Sesame Workshop Assistant Director This was a documentary shot in Kano and Abuja, Nigeria to demonstrate how the addition of Sesame Square (Nigerian version of Sesame Street) in schools and homes benefited the children in those regions. This doc was used as a tool to get more funding.
Dumbbells (2012)
Internet by Brendon Hamilton Assistant Director Dumbbells was a web series pilot about a guy named Marty going to work at a gym for the first time. it followed all the nuances of the gym environment and culture.
Infinity (2011)
Television by Kyra Boff (Sci-Fi) Assistant Director Infinity was a Sci-Fi Drama about a scientist named Kit who would do anything to travel back in time to reconnect with her deceased father. This pilot was aired on PBS.
