Andreas Yannakopoulos

I have been working as a Senior Video Editor for the past 10 years. Since 2004, when I obtained a degree in Media Technology in the UK, I have produced content across all platforms while being involved in demanding projects.

Among feature & short films, TV commercials and award winning music videos , I have edited the full length documentary “Scriptwriters’ shadowboxing” for the Mediterranean Film Institute, the factual series “Dialogue” and “School tube” for the Greek National Television as well as 2 nano docs for the prism.tv – all of them participated and screened in international film festivals.

In addition, I have acted as an Art Director, Project Manager & Post Production Supervisor for various projects and also worked for the Athens & Epidaurus Festival and the music festival Synch.

In 2011 & 2016, I performed as an Editing Instructor. First for the cinema workshops of New School of Athens, along with esteemed Greek cinema professionals - and later for the documentary making workshop Doc Roads.

Currently I direct the TV Commercials for the Greek National Opera and also work in the advertising industry as a Senior Editor for brands like Samsung, Vodafone, L'Oreal, Shell, and Orange.
