Mathias Olofsson is a Sydney-based actor with international training and work experience in the areas of film and theatre. He is collaborating and performing with Hurrah Hurrah Co in their latest show “Trade”. Alongside he is working together with director Sarah Vickery and composer Maria Alfonsine in their interactive performance project “Babelism: Love & Memory”, which debuted at Metanoia Theatre at the Mechanics Institute as part of Melbourne Fringe Festival in September 2016.
Mathias has previously starred together with Alicia Gonsález in “Soil My Feet” at blank_space Gallery, Surry Hills and in Archway1 Theatre Company's production of Jean-Paul Sartre's “No Exit”. He starred in various short film productions such as “Old World” and “Abyss”, directed by Jermaine Yuen. The latter gave him a nomination for Outstanding Performance in the 23rd Sydney Film School Festival screening at Chauvel Cinema.
